Neymar can return to his old team Barcelona
Neymar da Silva Santos Junior is a Brazilian Portuguese player, born on 5th February 1992. He is commonly known as Neymar Jr. or simply Neymar. He is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays for the French club, Paris Saint- Germain (PGS) and the Brazil National Team. Considered to be one of the best players of football in the world, he is known for his dribbling, finishing, skill, pace, and special ability to play with both feet.
PGS star Neymar reportedly wants to gauge the mood of the Barcelona dressing room and great reaction from fans before agreeing to return to the Old Team. The Brazil international’s wonderful return appears to be edging closer as the La Liga champions are willing to include both Ousmane Dembele and Ivan Rakitic as part of their team. And while Neymar has been pursuing a return to Barcelona all summer, Catalan newspaper Sport says the forward wants to gauge the mood of the dressing room.
FC Barcelona captain Gerard Pique admitted that he has no idea how the long-running saga of Neymar Jr.’s possible return to the club will end. Before two years, Pique posted a tweet saying Neymar was staying at Barcelona and just after that, the Brazilian completed his world record of 222 million euro to move to the French side, PGS. And when asked on Spanish television on Tuesday to Pique that what he thought would happen now, Pique was more cautious with his prediction.
“Of course we would all like him to come back, but that is something we players don’t control. We will leave it in hands of those who make the decisions and we will see what happens in the next few days,” said Pique.
The defender added that he “Wouldn’t bet on either of the options. Anything can happen.”
