Wonder Woman is a fictional super heroine (female of superhero), which appears in American comic books which are published by DC comics .The character is a founding member of the DC comic’s famous squad, Justice League. The character first appeared in All Star Comics in October 1941 with her first feature in Sensation Comics ,in January 1942. The title, Wonder Woman, has been published by DC Comics almost continuously except for a short interval in 1986.
The first trailer for Wonder Woman 1984 transports Wonder Woman to a decade defined by big hair, iconic musicians, and Ghost busters. It is also a decade defined by the Cold War, and that’s when it’s story takes place .Gadot told an audience gathered at Comic-Con in Brazil that Wonder Woman is “quite lonely, she has lost all of her friends over the past years, and now she’s doing what she needs to do,” when themoviepicks up.
The follow-up to 2017’s Wonder Woman is set 40 years later and puts Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince in the conflict of the Cold War. Having lost most of her friends over the past few years, she’s in a dark place, and on top of that she faces a new villain in the form of Kristen Wiig’s Barbara Minerva, who is an archaeologist who by way of a lost city and an ancient ritual ends up channeling an ancient goddess known as Cheetah.
Wonder Woman does not have to or need to win the summer or the year in raw domestic or global grosses to be a hit .It’s entirely possible that the sequel will merely perform about as well as we all hoped or expected $250 million from the first movie. That’s not a loss as long as the movie makes enough globally to justify the expense. DC Films is on a hot streak as both critically and commercially, but just because Aquaman and Joker topped $1 billion doesn’t mean this movie also has to.
