Saaho Box Office Collection Day 1: Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor Starrer earns Rs 68 Crore
Saaho, the movie which stars Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor, hit the screens on 30th August, 2019 and has had a remarkable opening. The movie was shot concurrently in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.
In between much publicity and expectation, Prabhas and Sharddha Kapoor’s Saaho hit theaters on Friday. Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer movie Saaho hit the crowded cinema halls and collected Rs 24 crore on the first day for the Hindi version. On Saturday, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and gave away the box office figures.
The film became the third biggest opener of Bollywood, followed by Kalank and Kesari, which collected Rs 21.60 and Rs 21.06, respectively. Salman Khan’s Bharat stands at the first position collecting Rs 42.30 crore on day one. At number two is Akshay Kumar’s multi starrer film, Mission Mangal.
Trade analyst Ramesh Bala also informed,meanwhile, that Saaho has earned over Rs 100 crore gross on its opening day:
There was feverish amount of publicity around the film as it was actor Prabhas’s first film after the Baahubali epic, which made him an international showstopper. Yet, while Saaho made an extraordinary start at the box office, it still couldn’t beat the record of Baahubali 2.

Saaho may end up earning pots of money, like so many other forceful, violent action movies of the recent past. However, that will not carry off from the fact that it the movie is horrifyingly bombastic. The Telugu superstar who attempted to break into Hindi cinema should have chosen a better movie.
