Pawan Kalyan to be the Lead Actor of Venu Sriram’s Pink Telugu Remake
• Actor Pawan Kalyan will star in the upcoming Telugu remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s Hindi film Pink. The announcement was made on Saturday.

Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu starrer movie Pink, which was directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, was a blockbuster film. It spoke about women’s consent and safety in the country. The film paved way for a lot of conversation about the condition of women.
Recently, reports came out that the film will be remade in Telugu and now rumours spread that the project is making progress. The Tollywood Power Star Pawan Kalyan would play Amitabh Bachchan’s role from the original. He has allotted a 20-day call sheet for it. Sriram Venu will be the director for this remake. Boney Kapoor and Dil Raju will produce the film jointly.It now appears that the star is impressed with the project and so he decided to don the greasepaint again. We expect an official confirmation on the same soon.

“#Pink” and Pawan Kalyan were trended the whole Saturday afternoon on Twitter with tweets.
He was last seen on screen in last year’s Telugu action drama film Agnyaathavaasi. Pawan Kalyan returns to acting after a gap of a year. He was occupied with his political commitments as President of the Jana Sena Party.
If everything goes as planned, the Telugu remake of Pink will go on the floors in December.
Producer Dil Raju was determined on Pawan Kalyan’s comeback. He referred several directors to manage their next film. Directors Krish Jagarlamudi and Harish Shankar narrated their scripts to Pawan, but they failed to impress him with them.
