John Abraham upcoming biker film at Isle Of Man TT circuit

After a streak of films based on patriotic subjects, actor John Abraham is all set to don the helmet once again in his upcoming yet-to-be-titled biker film. John will star and co-produce the movie as well. The actor had announced the film in March this year.

As per reports, the actor has procured permission to shoot parts of the film at the Isle of Man TT circuit. The 60.72 km racing circuit is one of the fastest and deadliest in the world, with average speeds far over the modern MotoGP racing. The roads are closed to the public during any racing event and a crash while racing usually means hitting a house, a stone wall, or a tree.
The film will be helmed by Rensil D’Silva, who has previously made films like ‘Kurbaan’ and ‘Ungli’. John said that the film has been in development for a couple of years, so it has been a well-thought-out plan as to how the makers wanted to proceed with it. The actor further added that he has seen many races on the Isle Of Man and the team has done the recce.
The ‘Batla House’ actor further revealed that he met the Minister for Enterprise Laurence Skelly and he granted the permission for the team to shoot the film. The film will start rolling in April next year. The actor reveals that the shoot of the film is scheduled in such a way that they can film the live Isle Of Man Tourist Trophy and the Southern 100 that takes place every summer.

Born on December 17, 1972, John Abraham is an Indian actor who debut with 2003 release Jism, which earned him a Filmfare Best Debut Award nomination. Before getting into films, the actor was a mainstream model. John did not have a good beginning to his acting career but in past a few years, the actor has never seen failure. He was in relationship with Bipasha Basu, who is now married to actor Karan Singh Grover.

John Abraham’s latest outing ‘Batla House’ clashed with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Mission Mangal’ at the Box Office. Both the films released on August 15—Independence Day and fortunately have done well as the collections suggest.
Noted film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and shared it with fans. He wrote: “#BatlaHouse [Week 2] Fri 4.15 cr, Sat 6.58 cr, Sun 7.21 cr, Mon 2.26 cr. Total: ₹ 86.04 cr. India biz.”


The film presents John in the role of a cop named Sanjeev Kumar Yadav. Besides, John in the titular role, there are some known faces such as Mrunal Thakur, Ravi Kishan, Prakash Raj and Manish Chaudhari playing pivotal parts.
The movie is written by Ritesh Shah and edited by Maahir Zaveri. ‘Batla House’ is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Monisha Advani
Madhu Bhojwani, Nikkhil Advani, John Abraham and Sandeep Leyzell. The movie is based on the encounter which raised quite a few eyebrows. ‘Batla House’ is helmed by Nikkhil Advani.
