- Rajkummar Rao: I know they would have told me that work is important
- Rao’s upcoming films are Made In China and RoohiAfza
- He also said,“Me being an actor gave them the most amount of happiness.”
Rajkummar Rao said that he immersed himself in work after the death of his parents as that was the only way he could cope with his parents’ loss.
The actor lost his father Satyapal Yadav in September this year. His mother passed away while he was shooting for ‘Newton’, the 2017 film.
Rao said,“Me being an actor gave them the most amount of happiness. I know they would’ve told me that work is important and ‘go and finish your work’.”
He also added, “Work was the only way I could keep myself out of it. I am glad I could show ‘Made In China’ trailer to my dad when he was in the hospital.”
Rajkummar said about his father: “My father taught me honesty. He was the most honest government official I have ever seen. He was at a post where he could have made so much of money. He stuck to his honesty.”
He revealed about losing his parents when he appeared on “By Invite Only”, a chat show which airs on television channel Zoom.
