Alia Bhatt posts about her experience of working in her Dad – Mahesh Bhatt’s ‘Sadak 2’
Retired director-filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt is all set to make his comeback with his upcoming directorial ‘SADAK 2’ starring an ensemble star cast of Sanjay Dutt, Pooja Bhatt, Alia Bhatt, and Aditya Roy Kapoor. The film is the sequel to his 1991 film ‘Sadak’ which starred Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt in the lead roles.
The team recently was shooting the second schedule of the film in Ooty which focused mainly on the romantic part of Aditya Roy Kapur and Alia Bhatt.
Recently in an interview with Hindustan Times, Alia Bhatt opened up about working with her dad ‘Mahesh Bhatt’ for the first time. The actress expressed her experience with the team as working with family. Speaking about her character, Alia disclosed that her character is both ‘Different’ and ‘Difficult’ which requires a lot of efforts.
Alia further disclosed that her father is very emotionally charged and high all the time which is altogether another experience for her. Alia further added that she was a bit nervous when she signed the film but now she is in the flow and enjoying every moment of the journey.
Alia will be seen playing the roll of Sanjay Dutt’s and Pooja Bhatt’s daughter in the second part which will majorly revolve around the father-daughter relationship. ‘Sadak 2’ is criticized harshly to hit the screens on July 10, 2020. 29 years after the first movie came out.
