Students at EIS, campaigned for anti-pollution day

Students at Euro International School rallied in Sikar City for spreading awareness among people about pollution.

Highlights of the day:
1) This rally was performed by a the students of classes 8 to 10

2) A 7-8 minutes act was performed by some of them and was street played in the market.

3) The rally began from the Sikar Junction through Jaat Bazhar to the Sheetla Chowk.

4) The act was performed between the route by the students of classes 7,8 and 9.

5)Students carried banners, placards, posters, drawings etc with them.

6) All of them were wearing masks as a rally sign.

This rally helped us to spread awareness among people and convey the message of not using Plastic.
Euro International School is the first school in the city to organize an awareness programme and rally.

Importance of anti-pollution day:
The anti pollution day is celebrated ever year on December 2 to spread awareness about managing and controlling industrial disasters.

Preventing the pollution caused by industrial processes or human negligence or limiting them is the main motive of the day.

To make people and industries aware about the importance of pollution control acts.

To take some action on limiting the usage of plastic and spreading awareness about the harm that it can cause.

To participate in campaignes, rallies etc.

After the act, cloth and paper bags were distributed among the people who were watching the act.
The spectators also participated in the rally with great enthusiasm, by repeating notions, walking with students, carrying placards etc.
The audience appreciated our efforts and the way the school is developing the students.

How pollution affect us?

The biggest threat to everyone is “Pollution”. It effects everyone whether animals, plants everyone.

Pollution causes health issues, it may cause even a Heart Attack. Migraine, Stroke, Hearing impairment etc are the common problems that we face cause of pollution.

It can lead to habitat loss of many animals and in severe cases it may lead to forest fire and drought.

Results of pollution:

  • Global Warming
  • Deforestation
  • Loss of habitat
  • Floods
  • Melting of Glaciers
  • Lack of food
  • Epidemic

How you can help??

You can help in reducing pollution by focusing on the causes of pollution and limiting them.

Spreading awareness can be the best way to limit the amount of pollution, like the students of Euro International School did.

Planting seeds will help a lot in the reduction of pollution,

Encourage others to do the same.

Present conditions

There are several events and awareness programs that took place in India to reduce pollution. People are now understanding the importance of cleanliness.

One day would come when India would be one of the cleanest countries of World. Our PM has initiated several missions and events to help reduce the alarming rates of pollution.

About Clean Ganga Mission:

National Mission for Clean Ganga was registered as a society on 12th August 2011 under the Societies Registration Act 1860.It acted as implementation arm of National Ganga River Basin Authority,consequent to constitution of National Council for Rejuvenation, Protection and Management of River Ganga.
