Kashmir valley will now cover an education centre which is to be laid down up by the Pune University. Encouraged by the changing situation in Jammu and Kashmir after the cancellation of Article 370, Pune University is scheduling to set up an educational centre in Kashmir Valley.
“The meeting of administration of Savitribai Phule Pune University happened today in which Rajesh Pandey, a member, moved a proposal that with changing situation in Kashmir, the university should set up an educational centre in Kashmir and seek permission for same the proposal should be sent to state government,” the Vice Chancellor of University said.
A proposal to the same cause was accepted by the university’s management on Friday. It will be sent to the Maharashtra state government to seek its permission to open the new centre, the university said.
Rajesh Pandey, who is a member of the University, moved a proposal that the university be supposed to situate up an educational centre in Kashmir and look for authorization for same the proposal should be sent to state government. Also the proposal was approved by all the members of the administration.
